ITV The Chase fans say the same thing about doctor's blunder on medical question

The Chase contestant gets Tachograph question wrong

ITV fans were left shocked after a doctor on The Chase got a medical question wrong. During Friday's repeat of the quiz show, four contestants were up against Shaun Wallace in a bid to win some cash.

The first contestant to face The Chaser was Lloyd from Hertfordshire and he only got a few questions right during the cash builder round. When facing Shaun, the first question was about what a Tachograph is and where it would normally be found.

The correct answer was a lorry, but Lloyd chose the wrong answer and picked a hospital. Back with the team, Hashim from Stockport started nodding his head in agreement but then realised the answer was wrong.

Fans couldn't quite believe the blunder as Hashim is a doctor and quickly took to social media to voice their reaction. One person said: "Oh lord... god help his patients #TheChase."

A second commented: "Ones a f***ing doctor, god help us all #thechase," as a third viewer commented: "hahaha the doctor was nodding at hospital and it was wrong #thechase."

On top of this, Bradley Walsh was also in disbelief that Hashim got the answer wrong.

The contestant then claimed that he got confused and thought the question was about a different type of graph.

During the rest of the quiz show, Cate from Middlesborough was caught by The Chaser, but the rest of the contestants made it through to the final round.

With £9,000 in the jackpot, the final three only guessed 14 questions correctly. Despite coming close to catching them, Shaun got one of the last questions wrong and the group walked away with the prize money.

The group managed to push back the Chaser after he got four questions wrong, which meant they walked away with £3,000 each.

During last night's episode, fans were left in stitches after a contestant gave a "hilarious" answer to a history question. During the cashbuilder round, Lisa's final question was about the history of The Royal Family and who was crowned King of England ten years after Queen Victoria's death.

The answer was George V, who was crowned in May 1910. However, Lisa panicked and couldn't find the right words to say, so she blurted out: "Victoria the Second?"

The Chase airs at 5pm on ITV and ITVX on weekdays.
