BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty halts show as warning issued
BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty was forced to halt this morning's episode to issue viewers a warning.
On Saturday December 21, Naga hosted the show alongside Ben Thompson and they announced that Wham! has secured the UK's Christmas number one for the second year in a row - a record previously reached by Queen and Band Aid.
Before delving into the report, Naga was quick to issue a warning to BBC viewers around 'Whammaggedon', a game that sees people try and avoid hearing Last Christmas between December 1 to December 24.
She said: "Hold on, we need to do the warning - Whammagedon warning. So only two other songs have held the honour, which are Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and Band Aid's Do They Know it's Christmas."
She continued, explaining why the festive hit deserves a disclaimer, saying: "The warning is because" with Ben jumping in:" You try to get as close to Christmas without hearing Wham's Last Christmas."
Naga then chimed: "You're gonna hear it now with our music correspondent."
