Emmerdale cancer survivor Chas Dingle in bitter feud over 'insensitive' comments

Emmerdale stalwart Chas Dingle (played by Lucy Pargeter) was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and she recently underwent a double mastectomy.

While the surgery was successful, the character is trying to adapt to her new body and is recovering day by day.

ITV spoilers have revealed the landlady ends up clashing with the brash and outspoken Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) in upcoming scenes.

In an episode yet to air, Chas decides to try on her prosthetic breasts and wears them to the Woolpack for the first time as she serves customers beverages.

She receives solidarity from supportive women around her such as Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and other punters.

Determined for a piece of normality, Charity assures Chas she doesn't need to wear them if she doesn't want to.

However, Kerry's insensitive comments unleash Chas' fury, with the pair locking horns during intense scenes.

Kerry has been clashing with a few residents in Emmerdale since her return to the Yorkshire Dales, including her own daughter Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) on the day of her wedding.

However, Charity agrees to look with her and Chas bravely lifts up her top to face her new reality head-on.
