Babygirl star's expletive message to 'filthy' actor during interview

One of the stars of new film Babygirl shared a cheeky expletive message to an actor he accused of being 'filthy'.

Viewers were delighted with the interview between Drew Starkey and Harris Dickinson, claiming the duo 'are the same person' after the video began with them noticing someone had discarded gum on a table nearby.

The actors were featured in Variety's latest Actors on Actors segment, where they delved into their acting origins and experiences working on recent projects with A-list co-stars.

Starkey stars in Queer with ex-James Bond Daniel Craig, while Dickinson shares the screen with Nicole Kidman in Babygirl.

Throughout their half-hour conversation, numerous fans remarked on their uncanny resemblance, often confusing them or noting their similar mannerisms.

Despite hailing from different countries, some fans even suggested they could convincingly play siblings in a future film, reports the Mirror.

In the YouTube comments, one person wrote: "They're like the American/British counterparts of each other." Another chimed in: "Brothers in another universe."

A third confessed: "Omg! My dream combo. I want them in the same movie playing brothers. Would watch it million times! This interview is my Roman Empire."

A fan took to social media sharing a snippet from the tail end of the engaging interview. They are seen wrapping up their segment, having an amusing exchange about some gum left on the tablean odd detail first noted at the video's start.

The user captioned the moment: "Harris Dickinson and Drew Starkey are the same person, you can't convince me otherwise."

In the footage, someone off-screen is questioned about the mysterious gum, leading the pair to cheekily deduce it was left by Adrien Brody. Their guess arises just before Brody's own Actors on Actors chat with Tilda Swinton is due for release, coinciding with his buzzworthy performance in The Brutalist prompting whispers of an Academy Award nod.

Exiting the scene, Dickinson quips a humourous jab: "Is that Adrien? You dirty b******. Adrien Brody, you filthy mother******."

During their conversation, Dickinson and Starkey delve into their experiences working alongside major industry figures. Starkey recounts a particularly intriguing interaction with his colleague Craig regarding the famed James Bond series.

His anecdote reveals an unexpected aspect of Craig's approach: "He just started talking about it [the Bond movies]. I got a lot of insider trading on that. It was really strange, because I'm watching this beautifully crafted, prepared performance, but also free of all inhibitions. I'm like, 'What is he tapped into? Let me lock back in.'".

The actor shed light on the behind-the-scenes magic of the jungle scenes in their latest film, revealing that they were not shot in an actual jungle but on a set. He shared: "The jungle was in a back lot. Dude, Luca [Guadagnino, director] was like, 'I want these plants', and they brought in thousands of pounds of dirt and built a jungle. Luca was very specific about how he wanted the world to feel. He sent visual references. Some photography; these paintings by Francis Bacon. With Daniel and I, there wasn't a lot of conversation about the dirty word - chemistry - between us. It was just going for it. My heart was racing on the first day."
