Outlander fans given sneak peek behind 'unforgettable' long-awaited reunion in season 7b
Insiders from Outlander have given a tantalising peek at one of the most awaited moments in the drama's spectacular return this past Sunday.
Starved of the Frasers' escapades for over a year, audiences were delighted to witness the continuation of Claire (played by Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser's (Sam Heughan) story as they ventured back to Scotland.
The latest instalment, titled Unfinished Business, throws Jamie into the arms of his tempestuous ex-lover Laoghaire MacKenzie (Nell Hudson), where he seeks to make amends for their passionless marriage.
However, tensions escalate when Laoghaire lunges at her former spouse with a pitchfork, prompting her devoted farm lad, Joey Murray (Sandy Jack), to intervene.
Fortunately, the fiery encounter left no casualties, thanks to the skilled stunt team that ensured actor safety during the intense scene.

The accompanying caption states: "How to make an unforgettable fight scene: Landing pads, brilliant choreography, an impeccable bucket toss by @nell.hudson and the cat-like reflexes of @samheughan."
The behind-the-scenes glimpse has roused fans' excitement, making it evident that Jamie's dicey reconnection with Laoghaire is a standout moment of the seventh season's latter half.
One viewer remarked: "Their facial expressions... The saddened eyes that connected... Sam's low gentle voice 'aye'... All of the physical interaction between them is stellar!!"
Laoghaire and Jamie finally reunited in the midseason premiere (Image: STARZ)"He finally admitted to her what he should have said in S1 Ep 9. This scene was amazing," another viewer responded.
"Brilliantly delivered scene by both Nell and Sam," a third fan penned.
While another quipped: "What I was thinking while watching it: 'He survived all those battles, it would be super ironic if SHE killed him'."

A final fan expressed: "I didn't realize that I needed this fight but it was the right ending of this relationship. Great job @nell.hudson and @samheughan!"
Jamie may have returned to his homeland, but the Frasers are once again separated after Claire receives a letter from Lord Grey (David Berry) requesting her assistance with his brother's gunshot wound.
In the meantime, Roger MacKenzie's (Richard Rankin) journey back in time brings him face-to-face with Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek), leaving fans eagerly anticipating what will happen next.
Outlander season seven part two premieres on Friday, November 22, on MGM+ via Prime Video in the UK and on Starz in the US.
