Vandy The Pink loves burgers. The designer has frequently used footwear and fashion as a way to tap into the tasteful motif, seen in collaborations with Clarks, and CASETiFY, as well as the label's own in-line "Burger" collection. Vandy is now tapping in with Salomon to reimagine its signature Speedcross 3 trail running shoe with his favorite food at the forefront of the design.

Signaling Salomon's first collaboration with a Korean brand, the sneaker draws directly from the composition of a burger; the upper boasts the brown of the bun, the green of the lettuce and the rich coloring of the patty, while the sockliner is covered in an all-over french fry-influenced print.

“Salomon has been one of my favorite brands for a while and I’m super grateful for the opportunity to represent my culture as the first Korean-owned brand they’ve collaborated with. Working with a brand I admire gives me a sense of pride, knowing I’m contributing to something that people already know and love," Vandy said of working with Salomon.

"I wanted to create something playful and fun for your next trail run but also be stylish enough to wear on the street, the Speedcross 3’s versatility and sophistication made it the perfect foundation for this project.”
