Emmerdale fans have 'rumbled' who Tina Dingle's mysterious child is - and he's a familar face to fans on the soap.

Having first trotted onto the Emmerdale scene in 1994, Tina vanished after a short stint in 1996. Initially brought to life by Jacqueline Pirie, the baton has now been passed to Samantha Power.

In a dramatic return this week, Tina descended upon the village to bid adieu to her father Zak Dingle (played by Steve Halliwell), much to viewers' sadness, after his passing in Scotland generated an off-screen farewell.

At the gathering to mourn the late Zak, a mysterious woman gatecrashed - undoubtedly of Dingle blood. Chas Dingle (portrayed by Lucy Pargeter) then exposed the uninvited guest as none other than Tina Dingle.

The funeral scene soon exploded in mayhem, with Tina slinging mud at the Dingles during what shouldve been a solemn occasion, even brazenly laying claim to the family homestead, reports Leeds Live.

But that wasn't the last of it: Tina's burden of a police-enforced tag was disclosed when she was hauled away by the police. Nonetheless, die-hard fans are abuzz with speculation that Tina has been harbouring a monumental secret: a child of her own.

Eagle-eyed show aficionados believe they've cracked the identity of this hidden pregnancy - and he's no stranger to the soap's loyal followers. A savvy sleuth on an Emmerdale discussion board mused: "Just think both Cain's mum faith and his half-sister Tina have both slept with frank tate."

A flurry of speculation has swirled amongst the show's die-hard fans, with one viewer positing: "Watch there be another Frank jnr come back with Tina."

Others joined in sharing their own hunches about Tina's mystery child, with comments such as "Defo that Josh, both nasty!" Another aficionado contemplated: "That would be good. Would explain why he was so horrible to Sam." While another suggested, "Probably! She seems to be hiding something."

Amid the murmurs, star Samantha gave insiders a glimpse into her character Tina's world, saying: "Well, she has no filters, and she will literally do anything to make sure she gets her way, including her claim to the house. She is not one to be trusted! I loved it!"

Building on the intrigue, she continued: "She is feisty, bolshy, selfish, and she always seems to have an agenda and won't stop at anything to get what she wants!"
