Some viewers are only just realising an actor's appearance in what's being hailed as a 'perfect comedy scene' from more than two decades ago.
Part of the enduringly popular film Austin Powers Goldmember, the third chapter of the comic spy saga with Mike Myers donning the eponymous guise, has resurfaced in online discussions.
The scene also works to unveil Beyonce's debut film role as Foxy Cleopatra, but it is the surprise presence of an actor who recently shined in the Netflix show Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story that has caught fan attention.
A buzz was created when an Instagram post shared the scene with the caption: "Who's someone that had a small role but they absolutely nailed it?".
Nathan Lane emerges as the standout, credited only as the Mysterious Disco Man, whose lip-syncing of Beyonce's lines accompanied by his dynamic gestures adds tremendous flair, reports the Mirror.

Sparking many comments on the social media post, the scene has also been shared on YouTube where one enthusiast praised it as the perfect comedy scenes.
On rediscovering this gem, fans expressed their admiration, with one writing: "I honestly think the movie would have been better if Nathan lane played Foxy Cleopatra."
One fan concurred, stating "Nathan Lane ALWAYS understands the assignment", while another added: "Nathan Lane kills it no matter how big or small the role is."
Several fans expressed their surprise upon realising that it was indeed Lane in the role, with one confessing they only discovered this fact when they were 'today years old'.
Although his cameo in the film wasn't a breakout role for Lane, he has since become a household name.
This is largely due to his original voiceover work as Timon in The Lion King along with his starring role alongside Robin Williams in cult hit The Birdcage.
He has also made guest appearances on several episodes of the sitcom Modern Family, playing the character Pepper Saltzman, a friend of Mitch and Cam.
More recently, he portrayed Teddy Dimas in the second season of Only Murders in the Building and Dominick Dunne in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
