This Morning: Ben and Cat introduce new £2 game replacing Spin To Win
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary delivered some exciting news on Friday's instalment of This Morning, revealing to the audience the much-anticipated return of Spin to Win to the ITV show after a break.
The presenters were bubbling with enthusiasm as they announced the comeback of the cherished game segment.
An ecstatic Alison exclaimed: "Now, Dermot, we have got some serious, big news!"
With tension mounting in the studio to the beat of a drum roll, Dermot announced: "We all know you've been missing it, so Spin to Win is back! To be fair, I thought it was going to be a huge [Cymbol sound effect] before I was supposed to say it."
His co-host jovially teased that he really amped up the build-up while notifying fans that Monday would mark the game's triumphant return, reports the Mirror.

Alison eagerly added: "We're so excited! Entries for Monday's game are now open. Get involved. Everyone's been waiting for it. I don't know if you've seen all the comments online, but everyone has been waiting for Spin to Win."
Yet, the frenzy stirred on-screen didn't quite translate to some viewers at home, who seemed notably underwhelmed by the reveal.
One viewer scoffed on Twitter: "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Spin to Win is back on Monday! Move on, we don't need that segment now."
With a pinch of sarcasm, another commented: "At least with Coin Drop, people were competent enough to answer their phones without saying some silly passphrase. And they didn't need to answer a stupid question about which guest made an appearance earlier on the show."
"Bring us coin drop, not spin, to win," said another disappointed viewer.
Another chimed in, bemused: "I'm sorry, they're bringing back Spin to Win?!"
One unimpressed Twitter user commented: "So that was the announcement...We already knew when they had the blurred photo earlier."
The beloved game invites one fortunate viewer to snag a tidy sum of money simply by answering with the passphrase, which is revealed when entering the competition on the This Morning app.
With the baseline prize set at £750, participants could see themselves pocketing up to £1,000, and it's all free to enter.
It appears that Spin to Win last made its appearance in the studio back in February before the show declared a hiatus for the popular segment.
In its place, Coin Drop rocked onto screens in June, offering fans the chance to win a staggering £20,000.
Whether Coin Drop is being sidelined with Spin to Win's enticing return remains up in the air.
The much-awaited resurgence of Spin to Win aligns perfectly with the return of staple presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley after their brief interlude.
The duo took time off for a week in alignment with half-term, leaving Alison Hammnod and Dermot O'Leary to take over the reins.
This Morning continues weekdatys on ITV from 10am.
