NJPW Renews The Contract of Yuji Nagata

In a post on Twitter, ‘Blue Justice’ Yuji Nagata announced that his contract with NJPW has been renewed. The contract had been set to expire this month.

He wrote: “Nagata Yuji’s New Japan Pro-Wrestling contract was originally set to expire at the end of January 2025, but in a sudden turn of events, his contract was renewed again this year.

Some players and employees have commented that it is wrong to terminate the contract of the outstanding player Yuji Nagata because of his age

It seems that this message reached the company’s upper echelons.

When I heard this, my heart was filled with a gratitude that cannot be expressed in words, and I felt as if all my hard work had finally paid off.

Without forgetting my gratitude to them, Nagata Yuji will continue to fight with all my might this year.

To all the fans, please continue to support New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Nagata Yuji.”

本来なら2025年1月いっぱいで永田裕志の新日本プロレス選手契約は満了するはずでしたが、急転直下で今年も契約更新することになりました。　

どうやら一部の選手や社員から功労者永田裕志の契約を年齢で解除してしまうのは違うのではないか⁉️

という声が会社上層部に届いたようでした…
