BBC Strictly's Tasha Ghouri details hidden message in routine viewers may have missed
Tasha Ghouri, in a touching revelation, shared the subtle yet powerful message in her latest dance with Aljaz Skorjanec on Strictly Come Dancing, which might have flown under the radar for viewers.
The former Love Island contestant was visibly moved in the ballroom this past weekend during the BBC One dancing extravaganza's tenth week. Securing the coveted seasons first full marks, Tasha and Aljaz set the standard with an impeccable score of 40 in the series.
On Saturday night, the duo glided through an exquisite American Smooth to the song Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi. Tasha who is the show's second deaf competitor, wowed the judges with an array of soaring lifts and graceful dips to secure the top spot of the leaderboard.
Head judge Shirley Ballas, praised their routine as the pinnacle of American Smooth elegance, while Craig Revel Horwood's remarks were simply "fab-u-lous". Motsi Mabuse celebrated the dance as the epitome of "perfection", asserting that Tasha had breathed life into the deeply moving Capaldi track.
Anton Du Beke, visibly affected by the performance, added that this is why dancers perform because of "how it makes us feel". However, there was a sweet gesture in their performance which viewers may have missed.

After learning they had made it through to the following week, professional dancer Aljaz took to Instagram to share his gratitude. He posted photos with the caption: "THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE for all the votes and countless messages of love for our dance on Saturday! For those asking.. No, the lights in the heart didn't break. They were shaped in Lyra's constellation.."
He continued to share his joy, saying: "Creating this American Smooth has been one of the biggest joys on @bbcstrictly for me.. Tasha subsequently reposted the message on her Instagram story, emphasising: "At the end of the dance it was Lyra's star constellation that lit up."
At the end of their emotional performance, Tasha had to quickly slip out of her silver flowing gown complete with sparkles and prepare for another showpiece in a dazzling blue number featuring tulle, just in time for the night's highly anticipated Dance-A-Thon finale, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Tasha Ghouri secured an extra six points as the runner-up to JLS sensation JB Gill, who topped the dance-off with seven points, catapulting both to joint leaders of the night's leaderboard.
During the results show on Sunday night (November 24), Tasha and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec were thrilled to learn they had made it through to week 11, setting the stage for their next performance during the much-anticipated Musicals Week.
However, it marked the end of the road for one contestant as Jamie Borthwick and Montell Douglas found themselves in the dance-off. After both stars took to the dancefloor once again, it was time for the judges to make a decision on who should continue their Strictly journey.
In the end, it was a unanimous decision as all four judges opted to save Montell over the EastEnders star. Speaking about his time on the show, Jamie had nothing but praise as he thanked his professional partner.

"I have such a good bond and relationship with and that's what made me want to do this show, it’s the people, not what I'm doing. I've had the best time. I could ramble on all day about this one [Michelle]. She's a new pro and she's absolutely been the most amazing teacher. We have laughed like you wouldn’t believe. I have nothing but the utmost respect for everyone on the show, so thank you."
