ITV I'm A Celebrity's Coleen Rooney 'applauded' by rival Rebekah Vardy after vile trial
One unexpected person has been cheering on Coleen Rooney after taking on last night's Bushtucker Trial on I'm A Celebrity – it's... Rebekah Vardy.
The WAG has thrown her support behind Coleen after she faced her first gruesome trial alongside BBC Radio 1 star Dean McCullough. Both diving into the Absolute Carnage challenge, the pair still somehow managed to score some meals for camp.
She was covered in bugs and rats and was locked in the back of a car while Dean searched for keys to unlock stars. Coleen remained calm and collected as she unscrewed the yellow stars while being bitten by critters in the less-than glamourous ordeal.
"I’m excited for my boys back home to see me do something," she'd explained ahead of the trial. "Hopefully, I’m gonna do well, I’m gonna try my best."
They both managed to secure nine out of 12 stars for camp after the group were joined by Love Island star Maura Higgins and her hilarious sidekick Reverend Richard Coles.

"It's blowing a gale at home but there’s definitely a rumble in the jungle," Rebekah wrote. "Luckily it’s not in the campmates’ stomachs, as Teabag Dean had Coleen with him for Absolute Carnage and they managed to get nine stars."

She really held her nerve as the mealworms, cockroaches and rats crawled all over her."
It's thought the only reason Coleen took part in Sunday night's trial was because of a social media surge of voters due to a post from her footy star husband Wayne Rooney.
"Me and the boys would love to see her doing a trial and know she’d want to put herself to the test," the Plymouth FC boss penned on X, formally Twitter.

"Let’s get voting," he added before seeing the results. "Think I could be in trouble here." A source told The Sun: "Coleen has had plenty of airtime to chat all things Wayne and Wagatha but wants to get stuck into the trials and show what she’s made of.
"Wayne knows that, hence why he encouraged all his followers to vote for her — and his posts definitely impacted the vote."
Later in last night's episode, Coleen revealed a run-in with Donald Trump at the White House while talking with her fellow campmates. She and Wayne lived in Washington, D.C. between 2018 and 2019 when her played for D.C. United.
"When we lived in America, we were invited to the White House for Christmas and we went in to meet ... so it was Donald Trump [who was President].
"So we walked in and we got to get like y'know the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree and stuff. So Donald Trump said to his son 'see? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good looking girls'. And I told my mum - I was like 'dirty b*****d'."
