The Chase fans 'switch off' after 'disgraceful' decision as Bradley Walsh mocks team

Furious fans of The Chase switched the programme off as they issued the same complaint about the team.

During Monday's instalment (November 25) of the ITV programme, presenter Bradley Walsh welcomed Abi, Greg, Gaynor and Scott, who went up against Paul Sinha.

The team got off to a worrying start as Abi, who took the middle offer of £4,000, was caught by Paul. Clearly concerned, Gaynor and Scott urged Greg to take the low offer of £2,000, despite him answering five questions correctly in the cash builder.

Greg, 23, took the advice of his teammates and made it back to the final chase. Up next was Gaynor, who said she was happy after earning £2,000 in her cash builder.

The team appeared to have a plan as the team suggested Gaynor take up Paul's low offer of £200. The 56-year-old became the second player through to the final chase, leaving 31-year-old Scott.

The chartered accountant earned £5,000 in his cash builder, with Paul adding a mere £1,000 and a whopping £88,000 to the table.

Despite Scott being the final player, Gaynor still urged her teammate to take the low offer, explaining how they needed him to join them in the final chase.

It appeared Scott's mind was made up and he took the low offer. After making it back to the final chase, Scott took the team's total to £3,200.

The three decisions from the players sparked uproar from viewers, who took to social media to slam the team.

"Oh P**S OFF!!! What is the bloody point? There’s sod all in the pot as it is," one angry fan fumed as another agreed: "Are ITV deliberately screening out the ones who said they would never go low? This series of #thechase is horses**t. You're seriously testing our patience."

A third declared: "£200 taken. Time to change the channel. ITV are a joke."

Another furious viewer echoed: "Oh great another low offer! I thought I'd see what this week is like but nope, see you in another 7 days."

"He’s a disgrace to chartered accountants everywhere," claimed another fan as someone else said: "Low offer so I've buggered of to #pointless #TheChase."

After Scott took the third low offer of the day, Bradley couldn't help but mock the team as he suggested what they could spend the money on.

Paul admitted: "It's been a long time since I've played a team where three of them have gone low but they had a plan."

Bradley quipped: "End up with £3,200. Split it up and go buy a coffee."

During the final chase, the trio answered 15 questions correctly. After failing to execute any pushbacks, the Sinnerman managed to catch them with 24 seconds remaining.
