ITV I'm A Celebrity stars caught 'red handed' undercover as tensions rise in camp
In the latest I'm A Celebrity jungle drama, celebrities were caught 'red-handed' amidst a brewing conflict in camp. Upon arriving at the show, Reverend Richard Coles and Love Island's Maura Higgins found themselves in the junkyard, away from the initial group.
Yet, in a twist of events, they stumbled upon creature comforts, including a cosy bed and an indulgent bath, all activated with the simple push of a button.
The duo was roped into pretending that their conditions were more dire than those of their fellow stars, even persuading them to forfeit a bed and portions of their meals. Radio 1's Dean McCullough joined the ruse, with the promise of a junk food feast for the whole camp if they could maintain the facade.
But doubts surfaced quickly after Dean settled in. Coleen Rooney, applying her famed Wagatha Christie investigative skills, was the first to articulate suspicions.
With the main camp later informed they'd be joining the junkyard trio in a trial, anticipation for a showdown escalated. GK Barry couldn't contain her excitement, exclaiming: "I can't wait to see those lying little thieves."

As they made their way to the trial clearing, journalist Jane Moore plotted to catch Maura, Dean, and Richard off-guard: "So what we should do is say nothing to them. Don't let them know that we know."
Upon probing, Maura quipped, "We're really hungry." The Reverend attempted to recount his ordeal while Dean lamented, "I slept on the floor last night, so my back is absolutely broken."
Alan cracked, unconvinced, "They're not getting a job in Corrie, I can tell you that! " Ant and Dec prompted Coleen to step up to voice her opinion, and she declared: "I'm not convinced that you are actually in the junkyard."
Almost instantly, Dean caved, jesting: "Wagatha Christie strikes again!" It wasn't long before Richard spilled the beans: "Circumstances in the junkyard are not quite as tough as we'd led you to believe."
Then the floodgates opened. Dean and Maura let slip about their indulgent bubble bath, while Melvin was stunned to learn that Maura and Richard had been relishing cheese sandwiches and tea as he faced the music in the previous day's trial, reports OK!.

The ruse was fully exposed, and it was disclosed that all the secrecy was part of an undercover task intended to secure treats for the camp's junk food feast. In pursuit of the final feast spots, Richard and Maura braced themselves for the Terrifying Teddy Bear's Picnic, marking the series' inaugural eating showdown.
A dismayed Maura turned to Richard, beseeching, "Father, can we say a prayer, please?"
Nevertheless, as the full contingent of celebrities returned to base, a rivalry appeared to simmer amongst them. By introducing one new bed and hammock for the fresh contestants, Danny Jones of McFly jumped at the opportunity to change from his previous sleeping arrangement.
Jane observed: "It's Lord of The Flies, if you're newcomers you get the worst beds."

On the other hand, Maura expressed compassion for Richard: "I just feel bad for him, he's not got a good back."
Alan concurred, remarking: "I don't think he should be in a hammock to be honest, I said before, he's 62 and he might want to but I don't think he should be in a hammock." Yet the camp chief is bound by rules that prevent relinquishing his bed.
Oti later confided in Jane her readiness to switch with Richard and forfeit her camp bed. To this, Jane responded, gesturing towards Dean: "He should go in it." Could this indicate early signs of discord in the camp?
