Linda Nolan opened up on her famous sister's "biggest mistake" this evening. The 65-year-old singer reminisced on a time when she performed with her sisters, Coleen and Bernie as they toured with a big named star.

The Nolans star appeared on BBC Two's Celebrity Antiques Road Trip as she went head to head with Status Quo legend Francis Rossi. Joining them were experts Philip Serrell and Natasha Raskin Sharp as they trundled around Surrey and Sussex looking for the most valuable antiques at bargain prices.

While speaking to Philip in a classic car, driving down a beautiful country road, the antiques expert quizzed Linda on her musical background. He asked her: "Who are the greatest people that you ever worked with?"

She replied: "Well, if I just said Frank Sinatra..." Phil interrupted in disbelief as he said: "What? You've worked with Frank Sinatra?"

Linda explained: "Yeah, we toured with Frank Sinatra." The expert interrupted once more, saying: "Wow I don't believe that! Really?"

The Nolan Sister star laughed before adding: "In 1975 we did two weeks. He called us his daughters and it was fabulous.

"I was 15. Bernie was 13. Coleen didn't come because she wanted to be at home with the horses."

Sharing how her sister had felt afterwards, Linda continued: "She said it's the biggest mistake she ever made. We had a 60-piece orchestra.

"One of my favourites was a song that my dad used to sing called 'Beautiful'. It's a really gorgeous song. It was great."

Coleen Nolan recently revealed that her sister, Linda, chooses to remain in the dark about knowing how long she has left to live as she bravely fights breast cancer, which has now spread to her brain, bones, and liver.

Providing an update on her condition, she told Loose Women viewers: "Linda doesn't want to know how long she's got because it's like counting down the days for how long she'd got left. This way, she's living every day like it might be her last."

Speaking about her health battle herself, Linda told Good Morning Britain: "I know I’ve got cancer, I know I’ve got to have treatment, but I don’t need to be dwelling on the fact that, ‘Oh, I’ve got that symptom that might be happening’.

"So I do try and not surround our lives with cancer, it seems like we do, but it’s surrounding us for sure. But we’re very philosophical about things.”
