BBC Antiques Road Trip fans slam show over 'rubbish' purchase prices
Antiques Road Trip fans were left frustrated after the episode that aired on Wednesday, November 20, with many sharing similar complaints about the auction results.
The BBC show, where two antiques experts compete to find treasures with a £200 budget and resell them at auction, featured Mark Hill and Roo Irvine searching for hidden gems.
The pair hit the road in style, cruising through the picturesque Northwest in their iconic Volvo on the beloved series.
After shopping for goods, Roo’s purchases included a Sadler’s car teapot for £65, a glass vase for £40, two hat boxes for £40 (managing to snag one for free), a fender for £30, and another vase for £25—spending a total of £200.
Mark, on the other hand, used his entire budget on a small table, three vases, and a napkin.
