Carol Vorderman replaced on LBC by This Morning star after terrifying health ordeal
Vanessa Feltz is set to become the new voice of Sundays as she takes over Carol Vorderman’s weekend stint on LBC after the latter left due to "burnout" caused by working a seven-day week.
Vorderman stepped back from her radio commitments last month at 63 years old, citing intense exhaustion and explaining in an Instagram video that although she felt "burnout" with a "tight feeling in my chest and I was utterly exhausted", medical examinations showed she had no underlying health conditions.
Feltz, who is only a year younger at 62, became part of the LBC family this past May, already carving out a niche with her Saturday show that delves into topics resonating deeply with Brits, from politics to culture.
In her own words, Feltz expressed, "I can't wait to be a weekend appointment to listen to. I'm looking forward to holding Britain's biggest and most spirited conversation with my lovely LBC listeners every Saturday and Sunday afternoon."

Vorderman had joined the LBC roster just this January, launching her programme which aired from 4pm to 7pm on Sundays, shortly after announcing her departure from BBC radio, where she took a firm stance against the broadcaster's new social media rules saying she was "not prepared to lose my voice".

Vorderman has been outspoken in her critique of the previous government on social media platforms, including X, formerly known as Twitter, where she has had numerous disputes with Tory MPs.
She revealed that the management decided she should relinquish her Saturday morning slot on BBC Radio Wales due to a violation of guidelines.
Feltz presents her show on Saturdays and Sundays, from 3pm to 6pm, on LBC and Global Player.
