Alter wins third straight state golf championship, seventh title overall

Oct. 15—The Alter High School boys golf team won its third straight Division II state championship on Monday at Firestone Country Club in Akron. After a first-round team score of 308 on Sunday, Alter shot 290 in the second round Monday to finish with a score of 598.
