Tom Brady Is Auctioning off $6 Million USD Worth of Watches

Tom Brady is slated to auction off $6 million USD worth of watches with Sotheby's in their upcoming auction. Titled "The GOAT Collection: Watches & Treasures from Tom Brady," the live auction is set for the end of the year and features a number of big profile luxury watches.

Amongst the pieces set for auction are some personable watches that were custom made for Brady. According to GQ's Cam Wolf who spoke to the GOAT quarterback in 2020, he mentioned that he did not want to sell his watches, "Hopefully I don't sell them, which I don't think I ever will. These will be hopefully in my collection for a long time." A total of 27 watches are slated to make up the timepieces portion of the auction at Sotheby's but so far, at the time of writing, only five have been detailed.

First, a custom Audemars Piguet Royal Oak estimated to hit around $400,000 to $800,000 USD features a white gold with a diamond-set bezel. The salmon-toned dial also features Brady's name written out including the number of Super Bowls (VII) he has won, in Roman numerals. The rotor also includes Brady's signature etched into it. He was most recently seen wearing the watch at his Netflix roast. The Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5980/1R-001 is estimated to sell between $180,000 to @$240,000 USD and has reportedly been a part of his collection since 2017. This rose-gold version is a rarity since Patek no longer makes it.

An ultra-rare Rolex Day-Date Reference 228396TBR is slated to sell for $80,000 to $120,000 USD and features a meteorite dial and diamonds set on the bezel and hour markers. The Richard Mille 35-03 "Baby Nadal" is estimated for $300,000 to $500,000 USD, produced in partnership with the brand's longtime ambassador Rafael Nadal and finally, the IWC Pilot's Watch TOP GUN Edition "SFTI" model estimated to sell between $12,000 to $18,000 USD was worn by Brady during the 2021 Super Bowl victory parade. The auction also includes a selection of sports memorabilia like his 2000 NFL Combine Worn shirt, Tama Bay Buccaneers Game Worn Helmet, University of Michigan Final College Game Worn jersey and more, all selling for upwards of $100,000 USD.

The auction is slated for December 10 and for more information, check out the lots online.
