BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans fume in fresh fix row over 'unfair' advantage

Strictly: Tasha and Aljaž dance the Cha-Cha to 'Espresso'

Strictly Come Dancing's live show has been hit with fix claims already.

A lot of celebrities have training on the dance floor due to the nature of their careers, such as actors and singers, but this year, one star has had quite a few dance lessons in her time.

Former Love Island  legend Tasha Ghouri not only has training, but away from her reality TV stardom, professional dancing is her day job - albeit not when it comes to the ballroom moves.

Tasha, who is also deaf and uses a cochlear implant to help her hear, came under fire from BBC fans as she gave a stellar performance with her professional partner, Aljaz Skorjanec, landing a whopping 30 out of 40 in week one.

However, some avid watchers of the glittering spectacle have raised their eyebrows, highlighting Tasha's background in dance. Before her rise to prominence through Love Island, Tasha pursued a career as a model and dancer.

The 26 year old began ballet at just three years old and subsequently trained in commercial street-style dancing.

"I love tasha but she isn't meant to be on the show because she is already a PROFESSIONAL DANCER. #Strictly," one viewer vented on Twitter (X) as Strictly unfolded on Saturday night. "Love tasha ghouri but bit unfair her being in strictly when she's a dancer? #Strictly," chimed in another, while a third remarked: "Tasha was great and has the potential to be even better but come on, an 8? Bit high. #strictly.", reports the Mirror.

"Do the #Strictly judges not know Tasha used to be a pro dancer? " one viewer of Strictly Come Dancing pondered online. Yet, Tasha's supporters were quick to rally around her.

A staunch defender tweeted: "I wonder why all the Karens and Deborahs who had an issue with Layton being a professional dancer last year have no problem with Tasha #Strictly," while another fan expressed their frustration: "some of yall should not pi** me off. people should leave tasha alone and let her enjoy her strictly journey pls. #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."

Tasha and her partner Andrew Le Page are dismissing any concerns about the notorious Strictly Come Dancing curse, admitting that Andrew and Aljaz are already forming a bond.

She told The Sun: "He has no worries at all. If anything, he was super-happy and could see the great partnership we had. He came to rehearsals the other day and watched for a little bit."

Tasha gleefully recounted a humorous episode where "Aljaz taught Andrew some dance moves, which was funny."
