It's been a couple of years since Nike introduced the Air Max Scorpion -- a lifestyle sneaker that combines a Flyknit and chenille blended upper with an oversized sole unit backed by Air technology. While many different colorways have hit the market so far, the Swoosh has more to come.

New imagery of two different colorways with metallic detailing has just surfaced, indicating that it will play a role in the brand's lineup of sneakers this fall. First, a "Black/Burgundy" take on the sneaker features a look that is similar to last year's "Bred" pair, however, it notably sports a bright metallic finish at the uppermost portion of the sole unit. The "Pure Platinum/Metallic Silver" version of the shoe matches this approach, placing a shimmering silver between the white upper and outsole.

At the time of writing, Nike has not announced any release details regarding these two metallic takes on the Air Max Scorpion. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect the two looks to land on shelves by the end of the year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $250 USD each.
