ITV The Chase fans all say the same thing about contestant's appearance

The Chase: Bradley meets sign language interpreter Adrian

ITV fans who tuned into The Chase all said that one contestant looked distinctly similar to a famous TV chef. During Tuesday's repeat of the quiz show, four contestants were up against Darragh Ennis in a bid to win a cash prize.

The second contestant to face The Chaser was Adrian and he only got plenty of questions right during the cash-builder round. He was given a very high offer of over £20,000 by Darragh, but Adrian stuck with his £7,000.

Adrian managed to guess all the questions correctly, which meant that he had two chances of potentially walking away with a big jackpot. However, fans were left distracted by his distinct appearance.

Many ITV viewers thought that Adrian looked similar to Heston Blumenthal, who is known for wearing dark tortoiseshell glasses. People took to social media to react to the similarity.

One person said: "Ask him if he can cook Brad #TheChase," as they posted a photo of Heston. Another also chimed in: "His eyes very scary #thechase."

A third also said online: "Eddie the Eagle in seat 2?…" as another person also commented: "Snail porridge anyone," with a picture of Heston also added.

Also on the programme was Jenny from Angus in Scotland, but she was caught quickly by Darragh in a tense race. Michael from Liverpool and fourth contestant Dot also managed to make it through to the final round.

With £18,000 in the final jackpot, the three remaining guests managed to guess 20 questions correctly. However, during a very nail-biting race Darragh managed to catch up with them and they walked away empty handed.

During last week's episode, fans were left in stitches after a contestant gave a "hilarious" answer to a history question. During the cashbuilder round, Lisa's final question was about the history of The Royal Family and who was crowned King of England 10 years after Queen Victoria's death.

The answer was George V, who was crowned in May 1910. However, Lisa panicked and couldn't find the right words to say, so she blurted out: "Victoria the Second?"

The Chase airs at 5pm on ITV and ITVX on weekdays.
