Ruby Fox Milligan (played by Beth Cordingly) was left raging on Thursday's Emmerdale after Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) accidentally splashed her while driving in the Yorkshire Dales.

The women met head-on and both refused to back down, which created a tense standoff until Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) got caught up in the drama.

Later on, Ruby's husband Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) told her to apologise to Moira, who is his sister-in-law. However, their feud clearly wasn't over by the end of the episode.

Speaking to Moira at The Woolpack after the standoff, Ruby took a deep breath and said in front of everyone: "Well, look, I apologise, sincerely."

"Why look so surprised?" She asked before adding: "I am willing to admit that on occasion, I am guilty of blowing these misunderstandings slightly out of proportion."

The assertive village newcomer then gave Moira a tight hug, with the latter standing rigid looking uncomfortable. However, a savvy Moira then whispered to Ruby: "You don't think I am buying this do you?"

A sly Ruby replied: "No, not at all," to which Moira responded: "Well I am glad we are on the same page."

Ruby then viciously told Moira her "earthy odour" was making her feel sick, causing the farmer to walk out of the pub.
