However @mrjoeblack wasn't thrilled by Rob's presence opining:"#gmb rinder leaning too much into kates face, looks weird, will be giving her the ick. needs to shift his chair away. #robrinder."

Although Kate had appeared on the show presenting the news on Thurday (March 29) this was her first time back in the main pesenter's chair since her latest flm about her late husband Derek Draper aired.

She had adressed the viewer reaction on Thursday's show saying: "I want to say thank you..absolutely incredible kindness.

"And, you know, that [kindness] gives me hope for what I think has historically been an insolvable problem - that if you have that much feeling from people, when they're touched by it, that something can be done.

"And it also raised a lot of questions. It's raised a lot of anger. It's raised a lot of fury.

"A social worker, wrote to me and said, 'I am furious with this situation, because I can't do anything about it.' And I guess we don't want to get into any situation of blame but it's people just now saying we have to do something.

"And also people for 20 years ago, lost their loved one, lost their partner and is still paying off the debt. And you think oh, my goodness, oh, my goodness. That's so tough," she said with her voice cracking.
