Tiger Woods brought a full wardrobe to a YouTube shoot but didn’t even hit a single ball.

Woods was taking part in a recording with golf fanatic and YouTuber Grant Horvat, who was quizzing the 15-time major on his best tips and tricks.

The 18-minute video posted to Horvat’s channel features plenty of insight from Woods, but crucially, it doesn’t include the American actually hitting a ball.

That’s despite rocking up with what appeared to be a full wardrobe with items of clothing all hung up in the back of a golf buggy.

Speaking to the camera prior to Woods’ arrival, Horvat, pointing to the stationary buggy, said: “The time is near. He’s got his whole closet with him over there [pointing], if you zoom in. He’s got all his Sunday red.”

Even though the PGA Tour superstar was kitted out to the max, Horvat and Woods spent the entire video discussing the best way to nail a tee shot based on different scenarios.

It’s likely Woods did have a swing either off-camera or during a separate yet-to-be-released video, but for the 18-minute clip uploaded to Horvat’s 993,000 subscribers… nothing.

One of the pieces of advice Woods gave Horvat that stunned the vlogger was how low he would usually set up for a narrow tee shot.

Sinking his tee low into the ground, Woods explained: “I always pick out a target, but if I have to squeeze one in play, I naturally will hit the ball off the heel.

“This is one of the reasons why I still use my old tees. If I had to hit one in play, that would be my in-play ball with the driver right now.”

Shocked by how low the tee had been sunken into the grass, Horvat asked Woods to show him the intricacies of setting up the shot.

Woods continued, after altering the tee: “That for me is a high draw. [Moving the tee again] There’s my fairway ball…

“For me, over the course of my career, I’ve always hit low off the heel… It’s not about how far I’m getting it, I’m hitting a heel cut.”

After the pep talk from Tiger, Horvat took a swing at the ball set-up for Woods’ shot, stating: “To me, that’s like hitting it off the deck [the ground].”

Commenting on his efforts, an impressed Woods jumped in to say: “Those last three shots are tighter… tighter dispersion. That’s ultimately what we want to have, something more consistent.”
