Golf sensation Nelly Korda has heaped praise on WNBA star Caitlin Clark, calling her "very talented" despite a few wayward shots during their round in Florida.
As Korda prepares for a potential seventh LPGA victory at The ANNIKA, she joined forces with Clark for a Pro-Am event.
The dynamic duo, along with Clark's playing partners Dan Towriss and Jason Rickard, enjoyed nine holes at the Pelican Golf Club before golfing icon Annika Sorenstam stepped in.
Despite only sharing half a round with the WNBA Rookie of the Year, Korda kept a close eye on Clark's performance.
The Indiana Fever ace had a mixed day on the course, nearly hitting a spectator with one shot, but still managed to leave Korda impressed, particularly considering her limited time to play golf.
"It was great to see how relaxed she was," Korda remarked, noting the hundreds of fans who turned up in Belleair, Florida to witness Clark's prowess.

"Obviously with the media attention she has gotten probably in the past year and a half, two years, you can see how she's comfortable playing in front of a larger crowd. And she was just really enjoying it. You can tell.
"She's definitely very talented. She was picking the ball really clean. She was losing a couple shots to the right, but I asked her how many times a week she plays and I think with the amount of obligations she has she probably gets to the golf course once a week. So just play once a week she was playing really well."
Women's golf sensation Korda has confessed that Clark, despite her switch from basketball to golf, didn't seek any tips from her. She acknowledged the challenge of mingling with fellow players while prepping for the next tournament.
As Clark became the star attraction on Wednesday morning, fans clamoured to catch a glimpse of the WNBA All-Star, sporting her iconic No. 22 Fever and Iowa Hawkeyes jerseys.
Korda was in awe of the crowd's turnout and praised Clark's influence on the event and women's sports: "I think it's great for women's sports.
"I love that she has a love for the game of golf. Me, like I've never really tuned into watching basketball before her honestly."
She expressed hope that this crossover would boost interest in all women's sports. Yet, Korda humorously conceded she might need Clark's guidance on the basketball court, joking about her own skills: "Probably needs work.
"Probably not that good. Maybe I'll ask Caitlin for some advice. Maybe next time we get together it'll be on a basketball court."
