The summer transfer window is nearly open once again but work is very much underway in the as the likes of , and are stepping up plans to bolster their squads ahead of next season.

Arsenal contact Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal have contacted Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes' camp over a potential summer switch to the Emirates.

That's according to CaughtOffside, who claim that due to Newcastle's precarious financial position they could be forced to part ways with the Brazilian.

Arsenal are said to have contacted Guimaraes' team, likely to discuss personal terms, as he has a £100million release clause for part of the summer.

Napoli eye Victor Osimhen successor

Bruno Fernandes lays down ultimatum

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has handed an ultimatum to the club, prove that they want him or the Portuguese playmaker will leave.

Speculation has been rife over the midfielder's future as he wants to compete at the highest level, before Fernandes made his stance clear after Wednesday's win over Newcastle.

"The club needs to want me," Fernandes said. "I feel the club wants me to be a part of the future.

"As I said always, I don't want to be a player that the club doesn't want to have. If for some reason they don't want to have me, I will go. But if they want me, I will stay.‌"
