The West Kowloon Cultural District is bringing the holiday spirit to life with the opening of its Christmas Market, which is set to run until December 29. The market features around 30 specialty stalls selling a wide variety of festive treats, drinks and holiday gifts. Jenny, a visitor to the market, said she’s enjoying the bustling atmosphere. "It's been a while since it's been this lively," she said. Victoria, a student from Germany, said she loves the live music performances. "It's really nice because it makes for a good atmosphere, you can just sit and talk to your friends." Stall owners at the market, meanwhile, said they hope the event will attract large crowds and thus boost their sales.
