OTTAWA, Ontario -- A symbolic 15-foot replica of the Trojan Horse visited Perley Health in Ottawa on Friday morning, marking the fifth such event in the city as the horse trots along hospitals across the province. The horse was deployed by CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions (OCHU-CUPE) and the Ontario Health Coalition, who are asking that the Ford government cancel plans to privatize surgeries and instead make investments in public hospitals.
