Fans who tuned into the Golden Globes on Sunday evening were left concerned over the appearance of Hollywood actress Kathy Bates. The 76-year old appeared on the red carpet before returning for an award presentation during the ceremony.
The icon was nominated in the Best Actress - Drama category for Matlock. However, viewers quickly commented on her small body and were begging if she was okay.
One fan posted online: "What’s going on with Kathy Bates is she ok." Another chimed in: "On a side note, Kathy Bates looks like she needs to slow down on the Ozempic."
A third similarly commented: "Hope Kathy Bates Is Ok...Did Anyone Else Notice That Her Entire Body Was Shaking & She had To Hold Onto Her Co- Presenter To Steady Herself?"
But many followers praised Kathy on her incredible weight loss journey. One person said that her glamorous look was "sexy" on social media.

Kathy has previously shared that she lost 80lbs over the last seven years after changing her lifestyle and diet, before shedding the final 20lbs with the aid of weight-loss jab Ozempic.
In October, she told People magazine: “There’s been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic.
“But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough.”
She also admitted that being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2017 was a wake-up call to managing her weight and looking after her health.

“[Diabetes] runs in my family, and I'd seen what my father had gone through. He had had a leg amputation. One of my sisters is dealing with it very seriously, and it terrified me. It scared me straight."
In order to change her lifestyle, Kathy started with small changes, such as taking advice from her niece to listen to her body.
The 'Misery' actress also stopped eating after 8pm and overhauled her diet, though she is content to indulge in the occasional treat.
