GB News: Patrick Christys and Emily Carver exchange gifts
GB News presenters Patrick Christys and Emily Carver covered the breakfast show and shared a touching moment as they exchanged Christmas gifts.
As Emily unveiled the present from under the table, she revealed: “It’s time to give you one of the gifts.”
Patrick confirmed to viewers: “We’re going to do a little bit of a present exchange,” as his co-host added: “This is a gift exchange because it is Christmas day.”
She continued: “I got you something because, so we’ve had a lot of comments about how terrible your jumper is and I did see that as an issue.
“So I got you something that maybe you could change into," she explained. "Okay, well, thank you very much,” Patrick responded.
“I wonder whether or not we’ve both had a similar idea here,” however before he could explain, Emily interrupted: “You’ve got something I can change into, that’s a bit rude.”
After a chuckle, Patrick continued: “At our flat, you always, there’s a particular jumper of mine that you always like to steal and wear.
“So I thought you should have something you don’t have to keep nicking from me,” as Emily received her gift she laughed and showed that camera “he actually hasn’t wrapped it on that side.”
The married couple also had two pairs of socks wrapped up for sports presenter Aiden Magee.

After praising their gifts for one another, Emily remarked: “That’s so funny, we both got each other jumpers," to which Patrick added: “Maybe we’re meant to be together.”
Despite getting married during the summer, she echoed: “Maybe,” before sarcastically adding: “It’s written in the stars.”
Following their wedding earlier this year, the couple chose to postpone their honeymoon until November, so they could cover the General Election.
This week, they offered a rare insight into their routines, as Patrick said: “Monday to Friday usually starts by being woken up by Emily (my wife's) alarm at 6.30am, moaning about what time it is and then rolling over and then waking up properly at 8am.
“I put the key in the front door at about midnight. Emily has usually made me a little bite to eat so I'll have that, which I really appreciate because she's got a full-on schedule as well.”
