Mark Dolan shares his views on BBC on GB News in 2023
Former GB News host Mark Dolan announced a huge leap in subscribers to his YouTube channel, which will host his new enterprise, just days after he was axed from his presenting job.
Taking to X he announced: "XMAS COMES EARLY! THE MARK DOLAN SHOW hits 20,000 subscribers after just 3 DAYS THANK YOU This is just the BEGINNING. I’m going to CHANGE current affairs broadcasting because I’m no P****. Become part of the FAMILY below."
He included a selfie taken with his cat below the post, in which he smiled broadly while the feline looked non-plussed by the news.
His followers were delighted by the milestone and took to the comments to congratulate him. "Happy Christmas Mark, it’s going to be an amazing show! and looking forward to all of your monologues," one said.
Another commented: "Keep up the good work Mark.. Merry Christmas to you and your family." A third chimed in: "Wishing you all the best in your new venture. Meantime best wishes to you, your family and your beautiful cat for a happy Christmas and New Year."
"Good on you Mark. I wish you every success," a fourth added. A fifth expressed their excitiment for the show writing: "Happy Christmas, can't wait for the New Year and the shows."
However it wasn't all well wishes. One follower said they woudn't be watching indicating it wasn't to their taste. "Good on you Mark but I won't be listening a bit too liberal wishy washy for me," they wrote.
The huge leap in followers is all the more impressive since Mark only recently set up the channel and hasn't yet started broadcasting his show.
He initially created the channel on the online streaming service to deliver a tell-all video about what really happened before his GB News departure.
He subsequently announced he will be embarking on a new venture in the New Year creating his own show on there - The Mark Dolan Show.

Last Sunday (December 22) he announced his plans for a new show sharing thathis "global premiere" would be happening in January 2025.
He took to X to explain what people can expect from it writing: "MARK DOLAN SHOW UPDATE I’m going to invite LEFTIES on the show.
"It will be TERRIBLE for ratings, but I want the show to reflect ALL VIEWS. Global premiere in January 2025."
In another post, Mark shared a snap of him enjoying a pint in his local pub. He captioned it: "First Saturday night off in 5 YEARS. BIG THINGS coming in 2025. THE MARK DOLAN SHOW launches in JANUARY. Subscribe NOW and join my media revolution."
