Call the Midwife: BTS footage of new Christmas Special and Series 14
Call the Midwife is back on BBC One with its two-part festive special - a first in the show's history. Rosalind Clifford (played by Natalie Quarry) is newly qualified and fitting in well at Nonnatus House.
Natalie joined the show's 13th season as a new student midwife and the star said her love for the show goes back many years. Speaking to Virgin Radio, she said: "I properly watched the show when I was a teenager.
"I feel like I was the biggest fan in the family, but they are really excited because it is something that we all used to watch together.” Once she left drama school, she sent the show an email asking to appear.
She added: "When I was like 19. I was like ‘Put me in an episode!' So (episode one) is kind of a weird sort of full circle moment to me being big-headed and being like ‘I’d be good in Call the Midwife.’”
While she is best known for her Call the Midwife role, the star has also taken on roles in Doctors and Atlanta. She also featured in the short film The Silent Canary.

"I’d been working in a shop and I had to tell them I was leaving, because I was filming a TV show in two weeks."
The star is on Instagram and most of her posts are related to her work, but she has also shared some highlights from her travels.
