The BBC have announced their full line-up for the Christmas television period, and this year they have raised the bar even higher with a cracking line-up of shows and films.
Their range of festive content will see old classics brought back to the screen, as well as blockbuster movies and special documentaries.
Earlier this year, James Corden and Ruth Jones announced that Gavin & Stacey would return on Christmas Day for its final ever episode.
After the previous Christmas special aired in 2019, fans were left on a cliffhanger after Nessa proposed to Smithy. According to bookies, there is a 75% implied probability chance that the final episode will be crowned the most watched on Christmas Day.
Other shows such as Outnumbered and Wallace & Gromit are also due to make a come back. However, one popular show has been overlooked.

Fans of The Wheel will be disappointed to learn that it won't be making a Christmas special episode this year. The BBC show aired its first festive episode in 2020 on December 27.
In 2021, it appeared again before being shown on December 29 for both 2022 and 2023. However, there is no sign of The Wheel making an appearance for this year's BBC schedule.
The final episode of season five is set to air at the end of December. Celebrities including the likes of Robbie Williams, Mel B, Jonathan Ross, Big Narstie, Richard Osman, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have all appeared on the show.
Michael McIntyre’s Christmas Wheel saw Judi Love appear on the festive episode last year.
