I'm A Celeb: Jane Moore defended by Loose Women co-stars
Jane Moore has joined the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! lineup, but the Loose Women panellist could face disaster. She made her debut Down Under alongside fellow celebrities, including Coleen Rooney, Maura Higgins, and Oti Mabuse, just to name a few.
Despite having had a smooth run since her entrance last weekend on the ITV show, Jane seemed to have her composure shaken in Sunday's (November 24) episode of the reality series.
Tensions came to a head after newly elected camp leaders Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones doled out the daily chores to their fellow campmates, but it sparked a "sexist" row.
The decision to make Jane, aged 62, and N-Dubz icon Tulisa Contostavlos, 36, tackle the washing up set off sparks.
Upon hearing her new task, Jane asked, "Is that because we're women?"
Barry, a former boxer, swiftly denied any gender bias, stating: "We were looking at you for possible water, and I thought that you're 62 years old, you're a year younger than me..."
But he was cut off as Jane pointedly called the assignment "ageist and sexist".
She exclaimed, "I have emptied the dunny, tended the fire on my own solidly for nine days, and you've given me the one job I don't want."
Bookmakers now suggest that this could lead to Jane being the first celebrity to be eliminated from the Australian jungle. Although she was not initially the favourite to leave, Jane's odds have been slashed to 5/4, while Danny Jones has surged in popularity with odds at 5/6 to be crowned King of the Jungle.
"Our betting suggests Jane Moore is the most likely to be the unfortunate first contestant to leave the jungle this year," said Coral's John Hill.
"In the outright market, Danny Jones continues to prove popular, and he is odds-on to be crowned King of the Jungle," added Hill.
Melvin Odoom is the second favourite to leave the jungle with at 5/2, while Dean McCullough is 3/1.
Elsewhere, Jane's Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford is set to enter the jungle but not as a show contestant.
The former This Morning presenter is heading Down Under to appear on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 's spinoff show, Unpacked.
She was all smiles when she was pictured at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday.
