Emmerdale: Ross makes his return to ITV soap
Emmerdale enthusiasts are on high alert, convinced they've cracked the mystery of Seb White's whereabouts, setting the stage for explosive revelations in the Dales.
Seb, the offspring of Rebecca White and Robert Sugden from their illicit romance, bid farewell to the village in 2018 with his mother Rebecca and her beau Ross Barton. Fast forward seven years, and Ross has informed the locals that Seb is with Rebecca's aunt in Bristol, with Robert's consent.
However, sharp viewers aren't swallowing Ross's story about Seb's current location, and it seems Aaron and Victoria are eager to blow the lid off this enigma. A switched-on viewer speculated online: "It's a lie about Rebecca ain't it? Seb with Ross and childminder somewhere?? She'll come looking for him and baby?"
Another armchair sleuth suggested: "So Rebecca is dead and Seb was sent to some random relative in Bristol with Robert's blessing? No way."
Another is adamant they've pinpointed Seb's exact location and it's a rather grim scenario. With Moses witnessing his father Ross embroiled in an underground fight club, bets are being placed on fight impresario Jade having snatched Seb to coerce Ross into competing, reports the Daily Star.
An amateur investigator revealed: "We don't know the name of this aunt in Bristol yet. What if papers signed were to hand Seb off to Aunt Vic but Ross has pulled a scam to presented someone else as 'Aunt Vic', and Seb has has been abducted by Jade or whatever gangster name she goes by and her squad?"
One fan speculated, "I feel like Seb has been kidnapped by the fighting ring people to make Ross keep fighting..."
Some viewers believe Ross might be deceiving everyone about Rebecca's demise. A television enthusiast shared: "Time for another one of my wild theories... no way Rebecca is dead in #Emmerdale. Ross is lying and I think that fight woman could be Rebecca (recast) and in disguise..."
Another observer pointed out: "Something about Ross's story doesn't add up, a routine op kills her when she had a TBI to contend with? Why wouldn't the writers use that if she was really dead... he lyingggg."
