As Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) marks its 30th anniversary this year, e& MOTB – formally known as Etisalat MOTB – gears up to host a retro futuristic-themed, open-air market in January, underscoring its status as the DSF's alternative shopping destination.
For ten days, the flagship event will return to its usual spot in the heart of Dubai Design District, bringing with it a wide array of clothing and footwear labels as well as its usual offering of global and local tech, lifestyle, and beauty brands. Coming off the success of last year’s immersive shopping experiences, skincare and makeup labels Drunk Elephant, Huda Beauty, Fenty Beauty and Benefit along with automotive brand AW Rostamani will be providing visitors with the chance to test out their latest products on-site as online label Cider prepares to make its regional debut in a special retail pop-up.
As part of the throwback theme, each stall will take its place against a specially designed backdrop of ‘50s-inspired neo-vintage aesthetics brought to life by bright lights and bold colors. Stretching from the markets to the stages, a curated line-up of live performers will be putting their spin on the retro concept through dance and music while the addition of new entertainment zones are set to cater to range of ages such as a smash room and open mic activation.
While visitors enjoy the free-of-charge concerts featuring the likes of Saint Levant and Naïka, both new and returning food vendors will be on hand to replenish appetites including Drake-favorite Dave's Hot Chicken. For those looking to indulge in special plates, the UAE’s go-to delivery service Talabat will also be serving up an exclusive dining experience throughout the festival.
e& MOTB 2025 will be taking place from Jan 3-12 and is free for all to attend. Head to Dubai Shopping Festival's website and social channels for more information.
