Furniture label LOEHR has released its SPRAY Throw capsule in collaboration with TEUBER KOHLHOFF, extending the Berlin-based textile studio's ongoing experimentation with graffiti-inspired patterns.
Thick brushed wool serves as the canvas for the seemingly haphazardly sprayed patterns, reflecting the visual language of urban cityscapes. The SPRAY Throws are offered in Black, Lemon, and Lavender, with Natural White accenting each colorway. LOEHR utilized thick 480 GSM quality New Zealand virgin wool for the collection, produced by a Lithuanian weaving mill. Jacquard double weave with contrasting warp and weft threads creates inverted images on opposite sides of the throws for versatile styling options. To round out the design, fringe edges add a traditional touch to the unconventional design.
TEUBER KOHLHOFF's work draws from organic and human-made characteristics to create its printed woven and knitted interior products, embracing the irregular quality of brush strokes, spray paints, and naturalistic patterns. The studio, founded by Anna Teuber and Franzi Kohlhoff 2015 often shares glimpses into the hands-on processes behind the abstract and geometrical studies that inform their work.

Set against LOEHR's sharp contemporary designs in the campaign shot by Stefan Hoederath, the throws provide a soft contrast to any modern space. The LOEHR x TEUBER KOHLHOFF SPRAY collection is available now, just in time for the onset of winter, via LOEHR's web store.
