Earlier in the year, AMIDA made a comeback with its Digitrend Take-Off Edition, which also made the shortlist for the 2024 GPHG Petite Aiguille category. Riding on the wave and ready to expand on the model, AMIDA has unveiled two new editions in Black and Gold.
As indicated in their names, both watches boast stainless steel builds, arriving in their namesake hues in brushed and polished finishings. The Black edition features a black DLC coating, while the Gold option is treated in a 4N gold PVD treatment. The new variants remain mostly synonymous with the Take-Off Edition, arriving in a bold, bodywork-inspired cast with a distinct, vertical display.
In addition to the two new colorways, a regular Steel Edition is also revealed. While the Take-Off Edition spotlighted an exclusive engraving depicting a rocket going around Earth on the caseback, the new editions are fitted with a bigger sapphire crystal, offering a wider view of the movement inside. The timepieces all run on the Swiss-made Soprod NEWTON P092 automatic caliber, which comes fitted with an auxiliary module with jumping hour discs.
Prices go from 2,950 - 3,500 CHF (approx. $3,340 - $3,962 USD) with matching steel bracelets avaiable at an additional cost of 350 CHF (around $397 USD), all three models will be available as part of AMIDA’s permanent collection in 2025. For more details, head over to the brand's official website.
