Update: Following a release date announcement for the Stash x Nike Air Force 1 Low made by the artist himself, official images of the collaboration have been revealed. Much like the return of the Stash x Nike Air Max 95, this Air Force 1 Low uses the same color scheme as its original 2006 iteration but establishes its own identity with material differences and alternate branding.
The material differences include fused detailing, a textured, ripstop-like material that appears on toeboxes and quarter panels (the original version opted for a smooth textile) and a row of stitching around the Swoosh that gives it an encased look. Branding-wise, this new iteration is pumped up with Stash's signature on both tongues in place of standard Nike branding. Finally, the shoes come packaged in a custom box with a graffiti-inspired graphic on the inner lid.
Expect the Stash x Nike Air Force 1 Low to drop via Stash's webstore and Nike SNKRS on December 13, the same day as the aforementioned Stash x Nike Air Max 95. It's priced at $160 USD.
Original Story: From the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll" to the Nike Dunk High "Wu-Tang," Nike has made it clear that no project is off limits when it comes to re-releases. Adding to the list of collaborations being revisited this year, we have Stash's beloved Air Force 1 Low that is set to drop by the end of 2024.
The American graffiti artist previously alluded to his Air Max 95 project, which also dropped in 2006, returning for SNKRS Day next year and is now gearing up to reissue his original Air Force 1 Low. Rumored earlier this year, we now have a first look at the pair as it stays true to its predecessor with its "Varsity Royal," "Harbor Blue" and "Soft Grey" detailing. Our limited preview of the kicks, which includes an unboxing embedded below, showcases its mixed material build and graffiti-inspired "STASH" hit at the tongue tag.
At the time of writing, neither Stash nor Nike have announced the return of their Air Force 1 Low design. Stay tuned for updates, including official release details, as we currently expect the pair to drop during the upcoming holiday season via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $160 USD.
