The pop-culture and merch-oriented label Dumbgood is dropping off a new collection inspired by simpler times. Taking notes from a nostalgic 2000s memory involving the popular file sharing platform LimeWire, the lifestyle brand is releasing a capsule apparel collection to celebrate the brand's comeback.
Honoring the legacy of LimeWire, which defined much of the music sharing generation during that time, the collection features a playlist work jacket, disc burning green zip-up hoodie, gnutella network beige pullover and a selection of three graphic t-shirts that include a playlist green tee, download grey tee and a gnutella network charcoal tee. Paying tribute to nostalgic times, the quintessential music sharing platform of the 2000s finds itself with another life, as it appears as vintage-inspired apparel pieces in Dumbgood's latest collection. Encapsulating the joy of discovering and sharing songs during that time, the LimeWire collection tugs at the nostalgic heartstrings, leaning into the Y2K style.
