Fleetwood Mac will be the focus of a new documentary from Apple Original Films.
The upcoming title will be a "fully authorized" documentary with the famed Frank Marshall serving as director. Consequence reports that the film will dissect "both the origins and legacy of Fleetwood Mac," and will include interviews with Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, archival interviews with the late Christine McVie and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes clips.
“I am fascinated by how this incredible story of enormous musical achievement came about,” Marshall said in a statement. “Fleetwood Mac somehow managed to merge their often chaotic and almost operatic personal lives into their own tale in real time, which then became legend. This will be a film about the music and the people who created it.”
