Colombian reggaeton vocalist J Balvin and his partner, the Argentinian model and actress Valentina Ferrer, have acted as muses of Willy Chavarria's label, one devoted to uplifting Latin art, culture and heritage since its inception almost a decade ago, for quite some time.
At the 2023 Latin American Fashion Awards, Balvin was honored with the Latin Fashion Icon of the Year Award while wearing Willy Chavarria. In September of this year, Balvin and Ferrera attended the BoF 500 Gala with Chavarria, and the couple reunited with the designer last month for the 2024 CFDA Awards, where Chavarria was honored with the Menswear Designer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
All that's to say, it only made sense for the trio to get together in Paris for an intimate photo shoot inaugurating Chavarria's Fall/Winter 2024 collection, making Balvin and Ferrer official faces of the brand. Lensed by Diego Bendez, the images see Balvin, Ferrera and Chavarria wearing looks from the designer's new collection, as well as custom designs from his New York-based atelier.
