Nudake, Gentle Monster’s artisanal dessert brand, has announced an upcoming collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Known for its whimsical, croissant-themed cafes and pastries that blend fuse art and culinary, Nudake has produced four exclusive desserts that take inspiration from Jennie’s creative world and vision.
The first on the menu is Cameo, a white chocolate cookie emulating the look of cameo brooches. Featuring two variations, one design spotlights a three-dimensional portrait of Jennie in the style of Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” Meanwhile, the other depicts an elegant hand wearing a red ruby ring.
A highlight item on the menu, Jennierubyjane is an all-white three-tiered cake named after the muse herself. Infused with a rose scent, the cake features a berry cream filling and is topped with edible rubies on the top. Jennie’s signature floppy ribbons complete the cake as embellishments on each tier.
Arriving in the form of a glossy red ankle boot, Rouge Heel is actually a gold rum soufflé that’s layered with luscious hazelnut chocolate. A single white ribbon adorns the toe of the “shoe” as a finishing touch that nods to Jennie’s recurring motifs.
Last but not least, Cotta is a panna cotta dessert with a surprising blend of flavors. Sweet pineapple coconut forms the base of the pudding, while the roses decor on top adds a zesty twist to the dessert with berry chocolate shells that are imbued with a touch of basil.
The Nudake x Jennie menu will officially launch in-store on November 28, 2024. To celebrate the collaboration, a special pop-up will be unveiled at the brand’s Haus Dosan location.
