Bowers & Wilkins first rolled out its Zeppelin wireless speaker in 2007 – initially as a docking station for your iPod. Over the years, the speaker has received several revamps, the latest of which has just arrived in the form of the Zeppelin Pro model.

Retaining the shape of the original Zeppelin, the Pro version introduces subtle upgrades, in terms of both the design and its technical capabilities. The speaker comes in two new finishes “Solar Gold” and “Space Gray” and now has an adjustable downlight, allowing users to select different colors of light and brighten or dim the glow.

Carried over from B&W’s 600 Series loudspeakers, the Zeppelin Pro uses titanium dome tweeters and a 150mm subwoofer design to reduce vibration for a cleaner sound. The model is also compatible with B&W headphones and earbuds to let users listen to the same track while switching between devices.

Last year, B&W teamed up with McLaren Automotive for a limited-edition take on the Zeppelin with a “Galvanic Grey” finish and subtle “Papaya Orange” lighting.

The new Zeppelin Pro is available for $799 USD on the Bowers & Wilkins website.
