ITV Good Morning Britain 'wardrobe blunder' as fans left baffled - did you spot it?

Fans of Good Morning Britain pointed out an unsual pattern on today's show (January 10). Kate Garraway was joined by stand-in presenter Paul Brand at the helm of the ITV programme as they welcomed on guests to discuss the latest headlines from around the world.

But as they delivered key topics, such as the fires raging through Los Angeles and an IVF cow, viewers at home picked up on something that seemed a bit strange. Many of those appearing on the show were all wearing the colour red - with Kate and weather presenter Laura Tobin included.

A number of guests also chose to wear the same colour, with them all seemingly being very co-ordinated. Fans at home questioned the move as they wondered if it was pre-planned or purely coincidental.

Taking to Twitter/X, fans noted the similarities in outfits. Posting a GIF of a woman spinning in a red ball gown, one viewer asked: "What’s with all the red clothes this morning on #GMB? Is it national wear red day or something?"

Another questioned: "Is the dress code memo for the ladies *red* today ...," while a third echoed: "Did I miss why everyone is wearing red today or is it a coincidence?"

Express.co.uk contacted ITV, who confirmed that the outfits were indeed all "purely coincidental".

However it seems one presenter did not "get the memo" as Paul Brand seemed to be one of the only people on the show not wearing the same colour.

The presenter stepping in to co-host with Kate today as Friday's normally see either Adil Ray or Robert Rinder at the helm. While the show did not offer an explanation as to where the regular faces were, Paul seemed delighted to be offered the opportunity.

The ITV Tonight star took to his social media accounts ahead of the show airing, giving fans a back stage sneak peek with a selfie. He was counting down the minutes to going live, with Kate sat next to him.

Paul eagerly penned: "One minute to go @kategarraway!! @GMB." Fans were delighted with the update and flooded his comments with messages of support.

One user pleaded: "Always enjoy watching you present #gmb with Kate this pairing is such a good idea by bosses at itv we need to see more of you on gmb.

"You’re a breath of fresh air friendly professional give excellent interviews. Come on itv give Paul more slots and get rid of the dead wood."
