22 Kids and a Wedding viewers were left on the edge of their seats as Millie Radford and Harley Passmore's fiery row threatened to derail their wedding plans.

The couple, who exchanged vows at Wennington Hall in Lancashire last November, faced a tumultuous journey to the altar, as revealed in the January 5 episode of the Channel 5 spin-off from 22 Kids and Counting.

Audiences watched as Millie and her beau Harley reached a crisis point amid the pressures of organising their dream wedding following Harley's romantic proposal in Florida.

The stress of balancing life, work, and parenting responsibilities took its toll, especially when Harley found himself jobless, casting uncertainty over their nuptials.

Despite financial support from Millie's parents, Noel and Sue Radford, the wedding preparations became a source of constant friction for the young couple. Harley confessed, "I need to get some pennies in for mine and Millie's wedding. I do like Sue and Noel and obviously I wouldn't let them pay for it all."

Meanwhile, Millie acknowledged the strain, saying, "It's creating a lot of tension between us both trying to organise a wedding and be parents."

Harley lamented the situation, wishing for the simplicity of work over wedding woes, while Noel, a father to 22, noted the significant hurdles his daughter and future son-in-law faced: "Getting to the altar for Harley and Millie isn't going to be easy, there's a lot of pressure on them.", reports Lancs Live.

Sue, the wife, concurred: "The stresses of planning a wedding are a big test on whether or not you're gonna get through that." However, after Sue and Millie had visited potential wedding venues and Millie had tried on wedding dresses, calamity ensued when Harley lost his job.

Harley, who has two children with Millie, revealed: "I have lost my job. Basically I got a call and he said 'it's obviously not working out for you'. A load of stuff went on with Millie so I had to stay at home with the kids and obviously we couldn't get a babysitter, so that''s why he said it's not working out for me."

Yet, things rapidly improved for the couple as the following week, Harley found himself back in employment. He joyfully announced: "I'm going to go home to Millie and the kids and say I do want the wedding to go ahead."
