COBRA GOLF Announces 2025 DS-ADAPT Drivers
It's December which in golf means that off-season exhibition tournaments are in full swing, groups of friends are planning their warm weather trips and excitement is building around new technology for the coming season. Whether you're in the market for a new driver or not, it's always fascinating to see where golf club technology is heading, and this year COBRA has made the first splash by unveiling its full line of "big sticks" a month ahead of release.
Last year was a success for COBRA as it unveiled its DARKSPEED line on tour, and this time around it has opted to update its current offerings instead of a full rebranding. The key update to the family of drivers, now known as the DS-ADAPT, is the FUTUREFIT33 adjustable hosel system which provides the most adjustability ever in a line of COBRA drivers. With 33 unique settings, club fitters will be able to hone in on the optimum lie and loft setting for each individual player, a key aspect of the customization process.
“FUTUREFIT33 is a true breakthrough in metalwood fitting,” said COBRA VP of Product Architecture Jose Miraflor. “Never before has any hosel system provided 33 unique loft and lie settings that can be adjusted so quickly and easily. 33 settings is more than four times our previous hosel system and more than double our nearest competitor.”
COBRA has also added a fourth driver to the family this time around, the DS-ADAPT MAX-K. This new addition is the most forgiving club in the lineup offering 10K MOI in a 460cc size head. Each driver, including the DS-ADAPT LS, DS-ADAPT X, DS-ADAPT MAX-K and DS-ADAPT MAX-D, is priced at $550 USD and available for fitting and pre-order now on www.cobragolf.com.
