I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! turned awkward on Wednesday night as a new feud erupted in camp.

During the latest instalment, the camp had an unwelcome visitor in the form of a rat, which was attracted by some remnants of dinner.

Suspecting it was the previous night's dinner of mud crab, which may have tempted the rat into camp, Reverend Richard Coles updated his fellow campmates at breakfast: "We had a visitor last night, a little four legged visitor with a tail, a rat."

Explaining they'd left some of the stuff out, including a frying pan and some cups, he then issued a warning as he reminded the camp to put everything away properly before going to sleep.

It wasn't long until Dean McCullough said in the Bush Telegraph: "It’s actually Jane and Tulisa’s job to make sure that the pots are in the trunk, so when the reverend was telling everyone to put the pots away otherwise we’ll get rats, what he really meant was, Jane and Tulisa, put the pots away."

However, things soon got tense when Melvin Odoom described the constant task of collecting water for camp to be "relentless". Going back and forth to collect, carry and boil water, tensions began to arise as Melvin said of Dean: "It’s almost like another chore to ask him to help… it’s like telling a kid to tidy up his bedroom."

Things went from bad to worse when later that day in camp, Melvin continued with his water duties and Dean was nowhere to be seen. A frustrated Melvin told his fellow campmates: "This is a lone man situation, he’s very good at disappearing!"

When tasked with carrying one pot of water back to camp, he told his fellow campmates: "That is no joke, the pot is so heavy." As he said: "I hate doing the water guys I’ve said it, I’m just gonna have to hold my hands up, it’s an awful job and I hate it, and I don’t wanna do it anymore. Guys I can’t, it’s not for me!"

However, the admission didn't go down well with camp leader Danny Jones as he told Dean: "Just get on with it mate!" As Melvin encouraged Dean to carry on fetching water with him, and the camp told him to adopt a positive attitude, Dean exclaimed: "Look, no beef, no drama, I just hate my job!"

To which Melvin joked: "Listen, your new name is Houdini because you like to disappear!" This prompted the camp to descend into laughter as Oti Mabuse exclaimed: "Shots fired!" while Dean was left too shocked to speak.
