Sunday Brunch star forced to apologise after swearing live on Channel 4 show
Things took an unexpected turn during Sunday Brunch as presenter Simon Rimmer accidentally swore live on air.
The Channel 4 show was back with another jam-packed show with hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon back at the helm on Sunday (November 24).
But when interviewing one of their many celebrity guests, Simon headed in an unexpected direction. Talking to Breana Tiesi about her hit US show, Selling Sunset, Simon wanted to learn more about the arguments and the chaos that takes place amongst the cast.
Probing her he asked: "Do you actually want to go behind the looks and say 'oh yeah she looks gorgeous', when you're really going 'b***h.'"
Startled by his question, Tim appeared confused as he admitted he wasn't sure if that particular word was allowed.

One spectator said: "Seeing the word 'b***h' curl out of Simon’s mouth has made me feel very strange things."
Tim's slip-up isn't the first time, foul language has been heard on the Channel 4 show. Back in July, musician King Curious, whose real name is Jim Sturgess, swore on the show.

Talking about his new music, the star said: "It's hard finding a name, it's not easy finding a name for a solo album."
Tim told him: "It's cool isn't it," while wafting his LP in the air. Sharing how he found inspiration, the artist added: "I'd scribble like words and stuff down in my notebook so that was a big part of what I do and lyrics and passages and things.
"I was trying to find a name, so I came across this kind of, just a sentence that I'd written down, that said 'I have no idea how this is going to play out but I am so f***ing....'"
At which point the hosts quickly halted the show and both began to shout "Woo wo woh," loudly and synchronized to drown him out.
Sunday Brunch airs Sundays from 9:30am on Channel 4
